Acceptable Use Policy
Use MixVio responsibly, lawfully, and only with content and identities you are authorized to use.
1. Scope and application
This Acceptable Use Policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to every prompt, upload, reference asset, generation, edit, Output, attempt to use the Service, and subsequent use or distribution of an Output. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms.
This Policy applies whether or not a safeguard detects or blocks the activity. Features may also be subject to the policies and technical restrictions of the selected AI Provider. Where a Provider applies a stricter rule, you must follow that rule as well.
2. Child safety and sexual content
Never use MixVio to exploit, endanger, groom, or sexualize anyone under 18. This includes real, altered, or fully synthetic child sexual abuse material; sexual or violent roleplay involving minors; content designed to impersonate a minor for exploitation; dangerous challenges directed at minors; and content that exposes minors to age-inappropriate sexual or graphic material.
Do not create non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual violence, pornographic or sexually explicit content, or nudity intended primarily for sexual arousal. Limited non-sexual artistic, medical, or educational material must remain lawful, rights-cleared, and permitted by the selected AI Provider.
3. Violence, self-harm, and illegal activity
Do not create or facilitate:
- credible threats, targeted harassment, stalking, human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or content that incites or celebrates real-world harm;
- terrorism, violent extremism, or hate-based abuse or violence against a person or group based on protected characteristics;
- suicide, self-harm, or disordered eating promotion, encouragement, or instructions;
- instructions intended to develop, obtain, or use weapons, explosives, or chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear hazards;
- illegal goods, services, substances, gambling, or other unlawful transactions; or
- malware, phishing, credential theft, unauthorized access, destructive cyber activity, or surveillance without lawful authority.
Fictional, documentary, newsworthy, or educational depictions are not automatically prohibited, but they must not meaningfully facilitate harm and remain subject to Provider restrictions.
4. Identity, voice, and synthetic media
Do not use a real person’s face, voice, likeness, or other identifying characteristics without their consent or another valid legal right. Do not impersonate a person deceptively or use synthetic media to defraud, harass, sexualize, defame, or take unauthorized action on their behalf.
We may request reasonable evidence of the consent, releases, permissions, or other legal authority required for an identity use. If you cannot provide adequate evidence, we may refuse the request or restrict the relevant content or account.
You may not create fake endorsements or testimonials, misrepresent an Output as authentic evidence, or falsely suggest that a person or organization created, approved, or participated in an Output. Do not impersonate political candidates or public officials or create misleading media about elections or civic processes. Tool-specific restrictions may prohibit public figures, minors, or other identity uses even where consent is claimed.
Comply with applicable synthetic-media disclosure requirements. Do not remove, alter, or falsify watermarks, provenance information, or disclosures for a deceptive purpose.
5. Rights, privacy, and sensitive information
Do not submit, create, or distribute content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, contractual, or other rights. Obtain the permissions and lawful basis needed for every protected work, brand, face, voice, and item of personal information you use. Respect valid removal requests and applicable disclosure requirements.
Do not use the Service to expose, aggregate, profile, monitor, or distribute another person’s private or sensitive information without authorization. Do not create facial-recognition databases, identify people in public spaces, infer sensitive traits from biometric data, or conduct unlawful surveillance. Review our Privacy Policy before submitting personal, confidential, or sensitive material.
6. Fraud, commercial claims, and high-impact uses
Do not use MixVio for scams, phishing, spam, fake reviews, fabricated customer testimonials, deceptive advertising, counterfeit goods, or false product, health, performance, or earnings claims. Do not exploit a person’s age, disability, financial situation, or other vulnerability to manipulate them.
Do not use the Service for political campaigning, voter suppression, election interference, or misleading information about voting and civic processes. Do not use an Output to make automated high-impact decisions about employment, housing, education, credit, insurance, healthcare, legal services, essential public services, or law enforcement. Outputs must not be presented as licensed medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice without appropriate qualified human review and legally required disclosures.
7. Platform abuse and safeguard circumvention
Do not bypass or attempt to bypass moderation, Provider refusals, rate limits, credits, access controls, account restrictions, or security measures. This includes retrying through different prompts, models, routes, accounts, or workspaces to obtain prohibited content or evade enforcement.
Do not probe, scan, scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or introduce malicious code into the Service. Do not share credentials, create unauthorized or deceptive accounts, resell access, or misrepresent an Output as an MixVio model, product, or endorsement.
8. Enforcement and appeals
We may use automated systems, local rules, AI Provider moderation, user reports, and human review to assess suspected violations. These measures do not guarantee that every prohibited request or Output will be detected or removed.
Depending on severity, history, and risk, we may refuse a request, remove or restrict content, limit features, suspend or terminate access, and preserve or disclose limited records as permitted or required by law. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate action. Other violations may receive notice or an opportunity to correct the issue where appropriate.
If you believe we restricted content or an account by mistake, contact support@mixvio.ai from the email associated with the account and request a review.
9. Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse to support@mixvio.ai. Include the relevant generation ID or URL, the type of issue, and a concise description. You do not need an MixVio account to submit a report. If the report concerns copyright, identity, privacy, or another right, explain your relationship to the affected person or material and provide enough information for us to evaluate the report.
Do not email passwords, payment credentials, or unrelated sensitive media. We may request additional information needed to verify a report or the reporter’s authority.
We aim to acknowledge complete reports within three business days and complete an initial review within ten business days. Complex, incomplete, safety-sensitive, or legally constrained matters may take longer; when practicable, we will provide a status update.
We will keep the reporter’s identity confidential where reasonably possible, except when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate or resolve the report.
10. Policy updates
We may update this Policy as the Service, Provider requirements, laws, and abuse risks change. We will post the revised Policy here, update the date above, and provide additional notice when required by law or when a change materially affects how you may use the Service.
What changed
